The town of Maelstrom sits on the northern shore of the convergence of the tri-river system flowing down from the Tuskwater.

The capital of The Feylands, it is a human dominated settlement that nestles into scenic rolling hills that cradle the rivers.

The town is still quite spacious with winding cobblestone paths, open squares and a magnificent central park that was a gift by a druidic dryad. Various trees dot the town providing shade and protection from the weather and places of fun for the local children. A grand old willow sits near the water’s edge that has become the favourite haunt for love-struck youths.

The people are rustic and friendly, many of Talden descent who have immigrated from Brevoy and the River Kingdoms seeking a new start. A few halflings and gnomes have also arrived and some fey have been spotted in and around the town much to the children’s delight.
